Fall 2022 Guest Lecturer on RNAi-based biopesticides for ENTOM 830: Molecular Entomology Lecture at KSU. Prepared and delivered a guest lecture on the theory, delivery, challenges, and safety of RNAi-based biopesticides.

​Spring 2017 & 2019 Teaching Assistant for ENTOM 857: Toxicology of Insecticides Laboratory at KSU. Readied supplies, graded reports, and co-instructed laboratory sessions. 4 and 7 students per semester, respectively. Participated in the 2020 K-State’s Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence Fall Workshop offered by the KSU Teaching and Learning Center.

Fall 2014 Teaching Assistant for BIOL 2011: Biology of the Cell Laboratory at ASU. Readied supplies, wrote and graded quizzes, and co-instructed two laboratory sections (37 & 13 students). The smaller class was an honors section.

Spring 2013: Co-instructor of BIOL 4513: Plant Physiology at ASU. Developed and co-taught a discussion-based course based on the textbook Plant Physiology, 5th ed. by Taiz & Zeiger. Oversaw student-led discussions of each week’s chapter. Selected and presented relevant primary literature for weekly discussions.

2011-2013 Graduate Fellow in K-12 STEM Education at South Mississippi County Elementary in Wilson, AR. Developed lesson plans for hands-on experiments and labs following the K8 Science Frameworks for Arkansas, and performed them with fourth and sixth-grade science classes once a week during the school year. Attended ASU GK12 pedagogy training during the summers of 2011 and 2012. Participated in the Advanced Methods and Materials for Teaching Middle and Secondary School (ESCI 6913) course at ASU in the Fall of 2011.

Summer 2006 Seasonal Educator at Sunset Zoological Park in Manhattan, KS. Wrote curricula for summer clubs and taught them to 7 to 9-year-olds. Toured students around the park for biology-oriented activities.
